Rick Schroeder brings nearly 30 years of senior leadership experience across public and private homebuilding, as well as custom home construction. As Chief Development Officer, he leads the daily operations of Nuevo’s development operations.
 
His broad expertise spans master-planned communities, active adult neighborhoods, infill projects, and both large and small scale mixed-use developments. Rick is a licensed General Contractor and Real Estate Broker, and he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management along with a Master of Business Administration.
 
He lives in Cardiff-by-the-Sea with his wife of over 30 years, Mary, and they have two grown children. Rick is passionate about building communities that reflect thoughtful design, lasting quality, and livable spaces.
